Less than two years have passed since the successful launch of the digital portal gov.gr, which is now indispensable in the daily life of all of us, as it has already managed to compete in Google’s search for the porn industry.
In times of coronavirus, the already “powerful” industry of erotic content may have experienced a surge of interest, but Kyriakos Pierrakakis’ public services portal gov.gr is also not far behind – it ranked first in search engines in a short period of time.
The graphs of “trends” recorded by specialists at Google related to gov.gr functions were compared with the rates of requests for content of erotic content, which approached, and at some point even surpassed interest.
Remote receipt of a wide variety of documents and certificates, such as test results, vaccination certificates and many other services provided by gov.gr, which now acts as a “digital CEP (Citizen Service Center)”, “untied” the hands of citizens. Relevant queries took the first positions in the search for users.
