Driver’s license: change of medical examination

The medical examination for the issuance of a diploma to driver candidates will now take place exclusively through the gov.gr platform.

In particular, doctors are given the opportunity to join the new system of the process of medical examination and issuance of a health certificate to car owners, as well as to renew driver’s licenses for those categories where necessary.

Now, based on the medical examination described in the Joint Ministerial Decision (Government Bulletin B ‘5703 / 9-12-2021), the doctor fills in and issues a digital health certificate through the Unified Digital Portal of Public Administration .gr).

Thus, the digital dossier of a person intending to obtain a driver’s license is updated automatically.
