The opening of the platform for taking antiviral pills against Covid-19 was announced on January 13, 2022 by Deputy Minister of Health Mina Gaga.
Mina Gaga, informing journalists and citizens about the course of the pandemic in Greece, said the following regarding anti-coronavirus drugs:
“From tomorrow, a platform for dispensing tablets will open, with the same criteria. These drugs have initial approval but no final opinion. These pills seem to work. They will be issued by the same committee and with the same criteria and the same methods as anticlonal antibodies. Patients must sign for their appointment, and doctors must inform the patient about the progress of treatment. According to doctors, the supply of other monoclonal antibodies for administration to patients is not recommended.”
