Extension of the current rules of entry to Greece until January 24

For the entry of foreign citizens, including Russians, into Greece, the previously established rules apply. They have been extended until January 24, 2022, the Government Gazette reported.

As the official information clarifies, all arriving in Greece, including Russian citizens, must have a negative PCR test (valid for 72 hours) or an express test (valid for 24 hours). The availability of these documents does not depend on the vaccinations given or the illness transferred.

In the absence of vaccination, all travelers, with the exception of children under 5, will be given a free express test upon arrival. In case of a positive result, quarantine is mandatory – its period was reduced from 10 days to 5.
