A professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business, who was attacked by anarchists on Tuesday, was accused of financial fraud and pedophilia.
As we reported previously, January 11, during classes in the auditorium of the Athens University of Economics and Business, the group burst in of the unknown, 6-7 (according to other sources, 10-15) people hiding their faces under their hoods. They went up to the lecturer and hit him several times on the head. When the students tried to intervene to stop the violence, they were also beaten. After the incident, the attackers fled.
A large police squad arrived at the scene of the incident. The professor was sent to the Evangelismos hospital, and had a computed tomography scan, according to Star TV. And law enforcement officers at this time tried to collect data from witnesses about the incident.
The attackers reportedly shouted insults at the professor, reminding him of the court cases in which he is involved.
Ministry of Citizen Protection media sources say the professor believes the attack was planned by three other scientists with whom he is at odds.
Meanwhile, the media and social networks have a different opinion.
CnnGreece reports with reference to information that the professor has been acquitted for a financial offense, and the case of indecent acts, of which he is accused, remains open.
At the moment, police officers are investigating, but the most realistic version remains that a certain group of anarchists is behind the attack, who in recent years have periodically taken over the functions of alternative justice (Rubicon?).
The prosecutor’s office ordered a preliminary investigation into the attack.
Meanwhile, on social networks, the Greeks named the professor, and also posted a photo of him.

Anastasios Drakos’ trial began on Friday. On Tuesday 6-7 (good fellows?) Enter the amphitheater and attack it. He blames his opponents. Kerameos, who knows who he is, blames those who did it. Who benefits from the 5 punches he received ???
Also, some authors of publications on Twitter accuse the professor of pedophilia and welcome the reprisal against him.
Με τι να σοκαριστείς πρώτα;
Ότι ο καθηγητής που μαζί με άλλους 3 καθηγητές κατηγορείται από το 2018 (!)
Ότι κουκουλοφόροι μπαίνουν & δέρνουν σε ΑΕΙ;
Ότι η αυτοδικία δικαιολογείται από κάποιους; # ΑΣΟΕΕ

What is the first thing to shock? That a teacher who, together with three other teachers since 2018 (!) Is accused of financial crimes and pedophilia, is still teaching? That hooded people enter and win universities? Is this self-condemnation justified by some?

The instigators of the attack were three of his colleagues, the professor complains. One is in jail since he was sentenced to 7 years in prison and two more are awaiting. Incredible things!

Others, on the other hand, condemn what is happening, stating that “the beating of teachers in ΑΣΟΕΕ is unacceptable and disgusting. They insult our democracy. They insult the public university. Violence has only one answer. Exemplary punishment.”
PS Judging by the comments, ΑΣΟΕΕ is still a bastard, and this incident clearly drew public attention to the teaching staff of this university and 100% to its leadership.
