A provision is underway that anyone who is not vaccinated will be fired from health services, Health Minister Thanos Pleuris said.
At the same time, he mentioned that some of the 7,000 unvaccinated health workers returned to work not because they were vaccinated, but because they had had covid.
Mr. Pleuris said that a decree is under consideration, according to which anyone who is not vaccinated will be fired from work in the health services (and not temporarily suspended, as it is now).
If this decision is still made, it will mean that those who have not been vaccinated will not be able to be hired by the Health Service, and for those who have been suspended from work, the path will open to termination of the contract, which will lead to their dismissal.
