The thriller incident took place on Thursday, December 31, New Year’s Eve, in a village near Larissa.
EKAB and the police were called to the scene. As it became known, an elderly man was chasing his wife with a knife, intending to deal with her.
According to the local publication onlarissa.gr, an angry 85-year-old grandfather in a state of rage began to stalk his elderly wife with a large kitchen knife. It happened at 3 am, while the woman was saved only when the couple’s son heard screams and broke into the parental house.
The son barely restrained the elderly man until police and an EKAB ambulance arrived at the scene. The man, after persistently refusing to admit his guilt for a long time, was taken to the hospital in an EKAB ambulance for a psychiatric examination, since the information states that he had stopped the appropriate treatment prescribed for him.
As for the victim, she also needed medical attention, as she experienced a real shock.
