The inhabitants of Ermoupolis in Syros literally froze when money rained down from heaven. The road from the Apollo Theater to Siru Melatron was covered with multi-colored euro banknotes, invitingly moving in the gusts of a light breeze.

After the report, the police arrived at the scene. But, alas, the islanders turned out to be more agile, and there was no longer any money. Despite the fact that the police asked the residents of the town to return the “New Year’s gift”, the total amount was not indicated.

But not everyone was lucky – the incident was simply tragic for an employee of one of the companies. He carried a bag with a large amount of money, which at some point opened, and all the money scattered down the street, reports CNN.
