The fifth day in Greece, an anti-record is recorded for new cases of coronavirus infection.
On the last day of 2021, the maximum number of infected in 24 hours was noted – 40,560 infections. This was announced on Friday by the National Public Health Organization EODY. The day before, on December 30, this figure was 35,580 cases of coronavirus. Over the past day, 76 deaths have been registered.
For the entire period of the pandemic in Greece, with a population of about 10.7 million people, 1.21 million cases of coronavirus infection were recorded. The mournful list of his victims includes 20,790 people.
