The adventure of the 68-year-old man who disappeared last Thursday, December 23, ended well.
According to the ERT, on Christmas day a relative reported his disappearance, and on Sunday afternoon a specially trained dog, a four-legged employee of the 6th branch of EMAK (Ειδική Μονάδα Αντιμετώπισης Καταστροφών), found him … in a ravine.
According to rescuers, the man was found in the Chrysocellaria area in the municipality of Pylos Nestoros and, for safety reasons, was taken by an EKAB ambulance to the Kalamata General Hospital.
4 firefighters in 2 cars, as well as a search and rescue dog, took part in his search. The police are investigating what happened and how the man ended up in the ravine and spent several days there, since they received a report on missing.
