The Mayor of Sparta has promised a reward to everyone who sheds light on the theft of the helmet installed at the entrance to the city.
Yesterday, Tuesday, from the crossroads at the entrance to Sparta, vandals stole a helmet installed there on the initiative of the mayor. Mr Petros Dukas and his deputy Mr Tanasis Karlaftis are extremely upset about the incident. They condemned the actions of the criminals, and the head of the mayor’s office promised a monetary reward of 1,000 euros to anyone who provides important information about what happened, contributing to the capture of vandals.
According to the site spartanews.gr, with reference to law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred on the evening of Tuesday December 21, at about 22:00. Collected videos from all cameras in the area. The police are analyzing the data and trying to establish how the helmet disappeared.
