The 20th International Luxury Travel Market was held in Cannes, France from 6 to 9 December. The new destinations offered by Greece have generated strong interest.
More than 1200 business meetings of Greek companies with foreign buyers took place at the Greek stand. Greece has become a protagonist among the luxury tourism offerings.
Service EOT France, according to the corresponding message, this year took part in the jubilee event with a stand of 250 sq. M. and 32 coauthors working in the specific field of tourism throughout Greece as part of the Ministry of Tourism and EOT’s strategy for targeted initiatives to expand and enrich the tourism offer.
The increased interest in the Greek proposals was shown mainly by the USA and European countries. Numerous meetings confirm the very high position of Greece in the world luxury tourism market. In November alone, for example, Greece won the prestigious Travvy Awards for Best International Destination in Luxury International Travel, at the Oscars of the American travel industry.
