"Radio Arvil" fired Statis Panagiotopoulos over revenge porn charges

The popular Greek satirical TV show fired one of its four co-hosts after it was accused of sharing intimate images of his ex-partner on porn sites.

“Statis Panagiotopoulos is no longer part of Radio Arvyla,” presenter Antonis Kanakis announced on Monday in the popular show. “We are sorry for the woman involved and what she went through,” Kanakis said, adding that he and his team “are very sorry that the person we worked with all these years did something like this.” …

Earlier on Twitter, an anonymous post claimed that Panagiotopoulos posted intimate videos and photos of his ex-partner on a porn site as so-called “revenge porn”. The woman has brought charges against Panagiotopoulos, the report said. The trial is scheduled for early 2022.
