On Sunday night, December 12, a resident of Menidi took his own mother hostage, threatening to kill her.
At about one in the morning, neighbors reported to the police that a man with serious psychological problems was holding his mother hostage in his house, threatening to kill her, and would not let her go.
Special forces arrived at the scene, including the OPKE group, as well as negotiators. Negotiations with the criminal immediately began, and as a result, the officers managed to convince the brutalized man to let his mother go.
When the woman was free, a policeman entered the apartment, but the offender rushed at him and stabbed him. The guardian of the order received two injuries, according to doctors – minor.
The police detained the man, who was taken to the police station, according to the OPEN channel.
