Meteorological warning: snow expected in Attica mountains

Meteorologist Clearhos Marousakis predicts a significant deterioration in the weather in the eastern part of mainland Greece and in the western part of the Aegean region.

In particular, tomorrow, on Tuesday December 14, in the above geographical areas, according to the eminent forecaster, showers and storm winds are expected. In coastal areas, heavy snowfall is possible (in mountainous areas), although locally even in lowlands. Areas such as Evia and the Prefecture of Attica will be affected. It is worth noting that snow will appear on Mount Parnitha.

In some parts of the Aegean Sea, as well as in the east of the mainland, very strong and in places stormy winds of a northern direction will prevail. At night and in the morning, some parts of the central and northern part of mainland Greece are expected to be quite cold with frost.
