Rains, snowfalls and thunderstorms continue, but not everywhere – weather forecast

Today, December 12, bad weather in some places will continue to spoil the mood. But its manifestations will not be so aggressive.

Rains and thunderstorms are expected in several regions of the country, more intense in the west, north and in the Aegean Sea. But from noon the weather will improve, limited to precipitation in the west and north-east of the continental part of the country and the eastern regions of the Aegean Sea, which will gradually stop. Snowfalls are expected in the mountainous regions of Western Stereia and Thessaly, Epirus and Macedonia.

The National Meteorological Service reports that the wind is expected to be southwest, with a force of 5-6 on the Beaufort scale, at sea up to 7 points, locally – up to 8. Gradually, the wind direction will change to the northwest.

Weather in Attica:

Cloudy with local rains until noon.

Wind: south / south-west, 4-6 points on the Beaufort scale with a gradual weakening.

Temperature: 10 to 16 ° C.

Weather in Thessaloniki:

Cloudy, rain at times. There is little snow in the mountains.

Northwest wind, 3-4 points, in the evening 4-5 Beaufort scale.

Temperature: 01 to 11 ° C.

Macedonia

Weather: temporary increase in cloudiness, here and there thunderstorms, snowfall in the mountains.

South wind from 4 to 6 points, in Thrace in places 7-8 points with a rapid weakening.

Temperature: 01 to 12 ° C. In Western Macedonia, it is possibly 3-4 degrees lower.
