A new car auction, which will feature cars and motorcycles as lots at extremely low prices, as indicated in the AADE announcement, will take place on Tuesday December 21, 2021, at 09:00, at the customs office of the island of Syros. Among the cars that will be sold, there are also examples that are suitable for recycling (or for spare parts).
Visits to the auction by interested parties are permitted on all previous days, based on the above date, after consultation with competent customs officials.
The amount of the guarantee for car auctions is 300 euros (deposit for participation). At the close of the auction, the prospective vehicle owner is required to pay a deposit of 20% of the price, while if payment is made in cash, a 30% discount applies. According to AADE, the accepted offers must differ from the starting price and from each other by at least 50 euros.
Among the cars in good condition for driving are the excellent Jeep Cherokee with a starting price of 880 euros, Hyundai at 800 euros and Citroen C3 at 400 euros.
In the scrappage vehicle category, the list includes a Jaguar at € 1,040, a Ford Escort at € 80, and a Chevrolet at € 200. In addition, there are 3 motorcycles at the auction at prices of 40, 80 and 120 euros.
