In 2025, the construction work of the Elliniko commercial center on Vouliagmenis Avenue will be completed, according to representatives of Lamda Development.
The Commercial Hub will become the largest shopping center in Greece, a next generation shopping park with large stores and state-of-the-art office space. An iconic multipurpose tower will be built in the neighborhood, which will house offices and apartments.
According to Lamda Development’s responses to journalists’ questions, all construction projects for the development of the complex will be carried out simultaneously, so they will be completed at the same time.
According to Lamda Development, in response to a related question, the estimated investment in the development of the Vouliagmenis shopping center is between 335 and 410 million euros. In accordance with the agreement concluded with the Fourlis group for the development of a shopping park with an area of 30,000 sq. M. The Fourlis Group will undertake this investment, totaling 55 million euros.

Lamda Development also pays great attention to the environmental impact of the new center, as it is part of Europe’s largest urban renovation project, which is creating the first smart and green city from scratch.

Among other things, by using natural materials, we have minimized the environmental impact of the building complex, making it a “pioneer” in the area. At the same time, green dominates both outdoors and in patios and rooftops. Please note that the extensive environmental conditions established by the legal framework will be fully respected in the design, construction and operation of the commercial center, ”says the developer.
With regard to the use of BIM technology for predicting and managing risk during construction and at a later stage of the project, it is said: “Research is progressing and will be presented in a BIM (Building Information Modeling) environment at all stages of the project. This methodology, in accordance with international standards, allows you to certify the production of fully coordinated projects, reducing the overall budget and implementation time by 20-30%. In addition, due to the complexity of the project, it is required to use all the latest technological tools to automate the design and construction processes, avoiding any obstacles and delays. BIM digital models will include all the necessary information. “
When asked about the tower’s earthquake predictions, Lamda Development states: “The international static tower designers, in collaboration with Greek designers, will take into account all the data required for its static solution, based on domestic and international seismic surveys and regulations, combined with the use of specialized software providing the best earthquake resistance ”.
Recall on the site of the former Elliniko airport, the “City of Dreams” is being built, the first of its kind complex center, combining both business enterprises, hotels and hotels, and infrastructure for entertainment and cultural recreation (including a casino and a green park).
