In the south-east of Moscow, in the Ryazansky MFC, a man opened fire. The guard and the employee were killed, among the four victims was a 10-year-old girl.
According to law enforcement agencies, the man was apparently planning the attack. Entering the building without a mask, in response to the guard’s remark, he immediately started shooting.
The injured child was taken to the children’s Morozov city clinical hospital. Three adults who were injured were hospitalized at the N.N. NV Sklifosovsky in a serious condition. The girl, who was wounded in the neck, underwent surgery. Doctors report that it was successful, informs TASS…
Anastasia Rakova, deputy mayor of the capital for social development, said that the man who shot the man who resisted was detained by police lieutenant Georgy Domolaev. The identity of the perpetrator has been established – this is Sergei Glazov, a 45-year-old former serviceman. His condition at the time of the crime is called inadequate, and a psychiatric examination will be ordered. For shooting, he used a military weapon not registered in his name. He also had a knife with him; no explosive devices were found.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Glazov, he is charged under articles on illegal arms trafficking and murder. He will be interrogated shortly. Investigative actions are being carried out in the inadequate apartment, and sappers are inspecting the MFC building. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin expressed his condolences to the victims and the families of the victims.
