New measures against the spread of coronavirus for unvaccinated residents of Greece are proposed by experts and could be taken from Saturday. Possible:
“Blocking” of hairdressing salons – entrance only for vaccinated; Click-to-buy retail goods (electronic only) express tests in supermarkets; double mask on transport, but not cloth, but FFP or N95.
The government is leaving open for now, as reported eretikos.gr, the ability to close supermarkets for the unvaccinated without a rapid test. Government spokesman Yiannis Oikonomou says:
“If the committee considers it appropriate and useful, you will see it.”
This proposal is supported by some scientists, and, if adopted, unvaccinated citizens will only be able to visit pharmacies without testing. The measures will be discussed during this week and may take effect from Saturday.
Each time the measures taken are announced as “last”.
