Greece’s national meteorological service, EMY, issued a warning of a sharp deterioration in the weather with showers and thunderstorms, in places with hail.
The bad weather front is approaching the country from the west on Monday, November 22, and will quickly move east, central and southeastern Greece until Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

Monday 22 November
Heavy rains and thunderstorms will affect the Ionian Islands and gradually Epirus, the western part of Central Greece and the western Peloponnese.
Tuesday November 23rd
Heavy rains and thunderstorms will continue and affect the above-mentioned areas, as well as from early morning at noon, eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the islands of the northern and eastern Aegean Sea and the Dodecanese.
In the afternoon, severe weather will ease in the west, but temporarily affect the east
Thessaly, Sporades, Evia, eastern Peloponnese, the Cyclades and possibly Attica at night.
Wednesday 24 November
Intense phenomena will continue in the eastern part of Thessaly, on the islands of Sporades, Evia, on the islands of the northern
and the eastern Aegean Sea, and the Dodecanese. They will soon weaken.
