Greek authorities announce 105 coronavirus deaths

On Monday 22 November, Greek authorities announced 7,287 new cases of coronavirus and 105 deaths in the past 24 hours. 608 patients are intubated.

The total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Greece is 886,207, of which 17,425 have died.

608 patients remain intubated in intensive care units and 3446 patients have left the intensive care unit.

106 357 tests were carried out, the positive result was 6.85%. Of the total number of cases, 1711 are in Attica (1020 yesterday) and 1149 in Thessaloniki (733 yesterday).

The total number of cases is 886 207 (daily change + 0.8%), of which 50.6% are men.

Based on confirmed cases in the last 7 days, 87 are considered to be related to international travel and 2,477 to a known case.

There are 105 new deaths of patients with COVID-19, and a total of 17,425 deaths have been recorded since the start of the epidemic.

95.4% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years of age or older.

The number of patients who underwent intubation was 608 (60.0% of men). Their average age is 65. 81.7% have an underlying medical condition and / or are 70 years of age or older.

Among intubated patients, 503 (82.73%) were not vaccinated or partially vaccinated, and 105 (17.27%) were fully vaccinated. Since the start of the pandemic, 3,446 patients have been discharged from intensive care units.

On average, 437 patients were hospitalized in seven days. The average age of cases is 38 years (range 0.2 to 106 years), and the average age of death is 78 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
