The Greek island of Kefalonia, located in western Greece, was hit by an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale today at 18:21.
According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the focal depth of the earthquake was 15 km, and its epicenter was 19 km northwest of the island’s capital, Argostoli.
