21,000 unvaccinated employees work without a rapid test

About 21,000 employees who were not vaccinated and did not pass the required number of rapid tests as they should have been identified by the monitoring mechanisms of the system Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Social Solidarity “ΕΡΓΑΝΗ”

According to the website moneyreview.gr, these data appeared after a corresponding verification of the applications of express tests of unvaccinated workers, submitted since 18 October.

The same information says that most of the violations of the legislative measure making rapid tests mandatory for unvaccinated workers were found in sectors such as catering, travel companies and film production.

As a reminder, for the absence of express test results (which are registered in the system) the fine is 300 euros.

In particular, the following applies:

Employees who fail the express test will be fined € 300 for full time and € 150 for part time for each violation of their weekly obligations. In addition, there are a number of other sanctions.

If the employer does not submit a responsible statement on the health status of employees, he will be fined 2,000 euros. If a false declaration of a coronavirus test is submitted, the employer will be fined 10,000 euros.
