Ancient Olympia in Times Square

Every resident of the American metropolis of New York can now take a virtual tour of Ancient Olympia in Times Square.

The unique project “Ancient Olympia: A Common Place” was presented after the joint fruitful cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Greece and Microsoft, which widely used artificial intelligence technologies.

The video allows you to plunge into the atmosphere of bygone days and visit Ancient Olympia, being transported 2000 years ago in the past. Viewers experience the sanctuary of ancient Greece through an interactive mobile app, a digital tour of the historic site, and Microsoft HoloLens 2 at the Olympic Museum of Athens, ΑΠΕ ΜΠΕ says.

Travel lovers will be able to visit 27 digital monuments, stroll through the ancient streets, see the stadium, the temples of Zeus and Hera, the Phidias workshop. The footage was voiced by Alexis Patelis, Chief Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Greece. Today on Instagram, he published his post, where he indicated a link to download the application to a mobile phone. Until then, enjoy the charm of Ancient Olympia:
