The weather forecast for the Athens National Observatory on Friday predicted high temperatures in Greece over the next few days, well above the average for this time of year.
The air temperature in November will be 6-7 degrees Celsius higher than the average.

The movement of hot air masses from Africa to Greece will lead to higher temperatures until at least Monday, while Eastern Europe as a whole will be the hottest part of Europe.
Dust from the Sahara
Atmospheric conditions in the next few days will facilitate the transport of dust from northern Africa, mainly to the western parts of Greece, where concentrations will be high.
