Easyjet Airlines is offering vacancies to tens of thousands of Greek citizens in 2022, which means that new destinations will open up for British tourists in our country.
The upcoming tourist season in Greece is expected to start with very good omens for tourists from the UK. The vote of confidence of British airlines and tour operators in our country confirms the new agreement concluded within the framework of the WTM in London.
In particular, after the meeting of the Minister of Tourism Vasilis Kikilias and EOT Secretary General Dimitris Fraggakis with EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren and EasyJet Holidays CEO Harry Wilson, it was announced that the company was strengthening by 500,000 seats compared to 2019.
According to the agreement, the airline’s available seats in Greece will be 1.6 million in 2022, up from 1.1 million in 2019, with an intention to reach 2 million seats.
In addition, at the meeting, the company’s desire was expressed to open a base either at Heraklion airport or at Corfu airport from 2023.
