DIAS police officers acted humanely, providing all possible assistance to a homeless person in the center of Athens. According to EL.AS., they bought him milk for his children, and a few days later – a pair of shoes and socks.
A homeless man was living on Ermou Street in the center of Athens and begging for money. According to EL.AS. on Twitter, police patrolling contacted him and offered to go to a nearby convenience store. There, law enforcement officers told a person in need “to buy whatever he wants,” but the homeless man bought milk and water.
The attention of the DIAS police officers was not limited to this. A few days ago, they bought him a pair of shoes and socks to protect the poor fellow from the cold. So who said that “it is impossible to become famous for good deeds” ?!
