A gang arrested in Thessaloniki, whose members opened 29 cars overnight

The arrest of three gang members who committed burglary of cars in Thessaloniki was carried out by Greek law enforcement agencies.

Police officers from the city’s crime control department began the organized arrest of gang members involved in a series of car burglaries yesterday, Sunday 31 October, following information from the Emergency Response Center. Three young foreigners were detained, and their fourth accomplice is on the wanted list.

The robbers, according to the investigation of the crime by the police officers of the Pavlos Melas Security Department, in the evening hours from October 30 to 31, moved through the districts of the municipalities of Pavlos Melas and Neapolis Sikea, and a total of twenty-nine cars were broken into.

Gloves, hoods covering their faces, two flashlights and a sum of money related to burglaries were found and confiscated from the arrested persons. Those arrested, against whom the case was initiated, were brought before a competent prosecutor.
