As seen in the video filmed by the immigrant, the police dragged people by the legs, beat them, and pulled them by the hair. In fact, they are not moved by the fact that among them there are small children who, frightened by the behavior of the police, burst into tears.
According to the state TV company ERT, on Wednesday, a group of 85 immigrants tried to fly from Zakynthos airport to Milan, Italy.
Most of the Cuban migrants, about 65, were forcibly transferred to a hotel in Laganas. In the coming days, they will be transferred to departure preparation centers in Corinth and Attica.
According to the ERT, Cubans traveled from Russia to Belgrade, where they received visas, and then arrived in Greece via North Macedonia and Albania.
