According to Creta24, a 54-year-old man killed a 48-year-old in the early morning of Friday 29 October in the Peristeré area. The same information says that the couple, who had four children, divorced, and the woman recently moved out, lived in a rented room.

The man allegedly stabbed his ex-wife in various parts of the body, and then said that he would commit suicide by throwing himself off a cliff.

The incident took place outside the rented rooms where the woman was temporarily living. When the man met her, he brutally attacked, first knocking him down with a motorcycle and then managing to stab her several times. The testimonies of people who knew the criminal actually indicate that he had long threatened to kill his wife.
