The death of one company employee and the injury of another were the result of an egregious incident – a cold-blooded shooting in Nea Eritrea on Tatoi Avenue.

According to the information, the offender, who lived in an apartment building on Skuf Street, faced very serious psychological problems. In fact, in the past he was hospitalized twice in a psychiatric clinic, but this time he was outside the walls of the clinic.

The perpetrator was a neighbor of one of his victims. “You forced a worker to use black magic on me,” he told the 43-year-old man, who ended up being shot at least five times.

According to the police, the “shooter” returned home to rearm. He climbed to the roof, where, luckily, he was caught by a group of police officers from the Immediate Response Unit (Αμεσης Δράσης). When they twisted him, he shouted: “Satan made me do this!”

He had hallucinations: it seemed to the man that he was surrounded by hundreds of spiders, he saw himself deformed in the mirror and other incredible things. This was the only time in his life when he asked for help. Then for the first time he got an appointment with a psychiatrist and was hospitalized in a psychiatric clinic. “

At that time, he lost his father, and his condition quickly deteriorated. He had new psychotic episodes, obsessions, hallucinations, in connection with which he returned to a psychiatric hospital, “- says the source.
