ΕΝΦΙΑ: double tax must be paid before October 29

Property owners must pay the double installment to ΕΝΦΙΑ no later than next Friday, October 29th.

The amount to be paid by 7 million property owners and 65,000 businesses is estimated at 800 million euros. As expected, these funds will contribute to further stimulation of revenues to the state treasury, which has been replenished since last month. However, those who will not be able to pay the double installment in October or the full amount of real estate tax may choose different methods. It should be borne in mind that late payment in some cases may be charged a penalty.

Property owners have the opportunity to:

Pay off debts in six monthly installments. The first installment is double and must be paid no later than October 29th. The last installment is due on the last business day of February 2022. For debt adjustments (installments) for 12 payments, an interest rate of 5.32% is charged, while the interest rate for 24 payments reaches 6.82% per annum. Payment by card. Taxpayers can pay the full amount of ΕΝΦΙΑ by credit card. The taxpayer pays the tax in 12 interest-free payments. The number of taxpayers who choose a credit card has increased significantly in recent years. Fixed debt management (payment by installments) represents up to 24 installments, which, however, are interest-based. The longer the installment plan, the higher the interest rate. Property owners can also pay off their debts online using the aade.gr website, and through it pay off either the entire debt or double the October installment. You can also pay for ΕΝΦ using mobile banking. In addition, you can pay your fee through the ATM network, as well as through telephone banking.

It is noted that property owners have the opportunity to correct errors in the E9 form by the end of October. After the amendments are made, the tax office will carry out a new calculation of ENFIA, and the receipt of payment will be corrected.
