At about noon today, British MP David Amess was attacked at a church where he spoke to his constituents. He died from multiple stab wounds.
The perpetrator, according to the police, has been arrested. British Conservative MP is killed by a man who entered Belfars Methodist Church during a politician’s conversation with voters. According to police and eyewitnesses, “he was stabbed a lot,” Reuters reported. 69-year-old David Ames represented the southeast of West Essex.
The police are not looking for other suspects in the incident since the perpetrator has been arrested. No further information is available yet. Video footage (in English) captured from a Sky News helicopter shows ambulances and armed police officers.
