Musical marathon of choral music “Turetsky and Soprano Choir” continues to expand its huge tour. In 2021, since May, an anniversary was held to mark the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, continuing the anniversary tour in Greece.

The project carries the message of peace and over the years of its existence has already united more than 20 countries and 5 generations.

This year the project was first implemented in Asian countries. “Songs of Victory” (for Europe the project was called “Songs that unite us”) sounded in the central squares of Europe – the marathon was hosted by such countries as Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Austria, France, Spain and others.

The event, entitled “Songs that Unite Us”, has become a true international musical embassy. Peace and health music unites thousands of people of different nationalities and religions.

The repertoire includes legendary songs about heroism and love – “Katyusha”, “Darkie”, “Buchenwald alarm”, touching compositions “Ogonyok”, “Let’s smoke”, works of the author “Leningrad bitter bread”, and other favorite songs, the best heritage of Russian culture and a musical compliment for the host countries – songs in Greek.

“Songs of Victory” is a project of the art group “Turetsky Choir”, launched for the 70th anniversary of Victory in 2015. The first public concert took place on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. From 2018 to 2021, with the support of the Moscow government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, concerts of the song marathon were held abroad, in the central metropolitan squares in 21 countries.

The entrance to the events is free!

The concerts are held in compliance with all the necessary standards of health and social distance between the audience, as well as all health rules of each country.

Europe was very much looking forward to this marathon, as evidenced by the support of the tour by the European authorities and the permits issued by them to host the events. With the help of music, artists build bridges of friendship between states, charge people with positive emotions and urge them to keep the peace.
