From Monday, October 11, a state benefit: free provision of 50 GB of the Internet will be available for adolescents from 15 to 17 years old who will receive at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
According to the joint ministerial decision, published in the Official Gazette, young people of this age group, after submitting an electronic application, will receive a free 50 GB data package (“Freedom Pass / Data”) from mobile providers.
What the Freedom Pass preferential package offers:
50 GB for free internet use; lasts 5 months from the date of activation, and every month you can use 10 GB; the package is available to any young person aged 15-17 who has received at least one vaccine; available from Monday 11 October 2021
How can I get a Freedom Pass?
The application is submitted via emvolio.gov./freedomepass or KEP, and the Taxisnet codes of the parent and the AMKA of the minor beneficiary are required to submit via gov.gr. If the application is submitted through KEP, it is necessary to present the identity card or passport of the parent and AMKA of the minor beneficiary.
Please note that the application is submitted by a parent or guardian who provides a mobile phone number to receive the Freedom Pass. The process ends one day after the application is submitted and the interested party receives all relevant instructions via SMS.
The beneficiary of the Freedom Pass is any individual born between 1.1.2004 and 31.12.2006 who has completed or received the first dose of vaccination.
