In Paris, arrested a former pilot who was going to ram Notre Dame.
The ex-pilot of civil aviation was detained by law enforcement officers in the south-west of France after they received information from the man’s relatives. They said that the 50-year-old former pilot was in an extremely depressed state and said in a conversation with them that “the plane will soon crash into Notre Dame Cathedral.”
Taking into account the fact that the man was “in a mentally unstable state” and that he had his own tourist plane Cessna, the relatives considered it necessary to report these words to the police, CNews reports.
Having detained the ex-pilot, the police intend to carry out a psychiatric examination in the near future.
