The prison administration restricted access to the telephone of Kasidiaris

On Thursday, the administration of the high-security prison Domokos restricted calls from the imprisoned Ilias Kasidiaris, the second-in-command of the far-right Golden Dawn party, following urgent demands from the secretary general for anti-crime policy Sofia Nikolaou.

The administration said that if any political activity or calls are noticed that are not related to his personal or family affairs, that is, communication with strangers or discussion with authorized persons of non-personal issues, the communication will be immediately interrupted.

The decision was made after a series of videos were posted on social media, in which Kasidiaris commented on various issues, including the Covid-19 vaccination.

Recall that in October 2020, the final session of the court took place, at which the judgments of the Chrissi Avgi (Golden Dawn) party were passed, and all its leaders were recognized as criminals and sentenced to maximum terms (13.5 years each), under the article “participation in a criminal organizations “.

It is impossible for 20,000 protesters to violently interfere in the trial, and all politicians cannot come out, and the Prime Minister and President of the Republic cannot announce the court’s decision in advance and seek my conviction. I am not guilty. Do not deny me this right (Pending Appeal Right). This is what I claim. My innocence is based on an 8-hour statement by the prosecutor and a proposal from a competent plaintiff.
