A seismic shock with a force of 4.1 on the Richter scale was recorded today at 17:03 at Nisyros.
According to the initial data of the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a distance of 9 km southeast of Nisyros. The source depth was 5 km.
The earthquake data was obtained by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Institute using an automated computer system, without the participation of a seismologist, and is constantly updated.
