Dimitris Anastasopoulos, member of the DSA board of directors and presidential candidate in the upcoming elections in the profile association, presented the program for the protection of women lawyers.
During the presentation of the program, which took place in the summer cinema “Dexameni”, among other things, the results of the survey were made public, during which it was revealed that 32% of women lawyers were victims of sexual harassment in the workplace.
The study, which was attended by 1,177 women, reflects the difficulties they face in their professional activities, as well as discrimination against them.
According to the survey, 71% of women believe that they are not provided with the same professional opportunities as male lawyers, and another 63.46% say that their working conditions are worse than those of men. Also 32% indicate that they have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace.
