Spiderman thief category brings terror to Athens

Three criminals fell into the hands of ELAS employees when they tried to enter an apartment in an apartment building in the Kolonos area.

All this happened last night: passers-by found the criminals when they climbed onto the balcony of the apartment, and immediately reported to the police. At the scene of the crime, on Astros Street in Kolonos, people from the DIAS group rushed in pursuit and arrested one of the three burglars.

It seems that the burglars have completely “lost their fear.” Just the other day, another “rock-climber” thief was detained, which became a “headache” for the police authorities. The offender was caught and sentenced to three years in prison.

According to thessalia.gr, the 29-year-old Bulgarian acted like a professional climber, as he managed to climb into apartments located on the 3rd and 4th floors through sewers and using equipment. The burglar took away gold, jewelry, money from the apartments. Larisa’s court sentenced the man to three years in prison and, citing the need to prevent similar criminal acts in the future, ruled that the sentence could not be deferred.

As it was established, the Bulgarian entered 25 apartments in Larisa, located in the OSE, ATA and Antupolis districts, having enriched himself with a very decent amount of cash – 5270 euros. At the same time, according to law enforcement agencies, the cost of the stolen jewelry was 70,000 euros.

Policemen from Larisa’s subdivision “calculated” the actions of the guy and his 20-year-old friend-gunner, eventually making the arrest of “a couple of elusive”.
