The wounded hunter was taken to the Ioannina hospital after being attacked by a boar he intended to shoot.
According to preliminary information, the hunter with his company went hunting in the Tyria region, when he was suddenly attacked by a wild animal. Before he could react, the 48-year-old was hit and knocked to the ground and lost consciousness.
Fortunately, the incident was quickly noticed by other hunters who rushed to his aid and then took the victim to the hospital.
During the same hunt, a hound was killed, which was attacked by a boar.
