Pagrati: arrest for drugs and a Kalashnikov assault rifle

In Pagrati, Athens, a 22-year-old young man was found and arrested on charges of drug dealing and firearms violations. A Kalashnikov assault rifle, cocaine and hashish were found in his house.

According to a Greek police report, the guy was arrested at noon Tuesday (21 September), at his home in Pagrati, by the Attica Police Department.

Law enforcement officials located the suspect using information about drug trafficking in the Attica area. The police began to create an individual “profile” of the offender, cross-check information, available data, as well as identify the places where he was seen earlier. Thus, the whereabouts of the drug dealer were identified and an arrest was made.

Police investigations at the home of a 22-year-old man in Pagrati revealed and confiscated:

cocaine, a bag weighing 395 grams, hashish, a bag weighing 2 kg and 277 grams, a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a pistol with 2 cartridges and 8 additional cartridges, 2,400 euros, 2 mobile phones, electronic scales.

The detainee was taken to the Athens Prosecutor’s Office.
