The Greek tax authorities have issued annual notices for the introduction of the 2021 ENFIA flat property tax, and 7.3 million property owners will have to pay a total of just over 2.5 billion euros.
The notices have been uploaded to a new tax office website now called myAADE. Taxpayers can access them using their taxisnet codes.
Taxpayers can pay property tax in six installments. The former can be paid for with the latter at the end of October (at no additional cost), while the latter is scheduled for late February 2022.
According to the government, from 2020 the amounts will differ only if someone sold or bought real estate, and those who legalized it during this period.
An estimated 1.3 million taxpayers will see a 50% cut from 2020, or even 100% based on reported revenues in 2020.
