Arrest for fake vaccination certificates and their use

Greek law enforcement officials reported three arrests. 3 people were detained for issuing and using fake vaccination certificates.

As it became known yesterday, on Tuesday September 21, three persons, participants in illegal actions, were detained by the police of the internal affairs service.

The Trinity is charged with “an episodic offense in the form of issuing a false vaccination certificate, direct complicity in a crime and violation of the legislation on disease prevention (use of false certificates).”

In particular, two Greeks received fake vaccination certificates from a nurse at the Attica Medical Center and presented them where required. However, it turned out that the certificates were fake, and administrative punishment and fines were imposed for this.

The case was investigated after the proper use of information and data brought to the attention of the competent prosecutor, after which a preliminary investigation was ordered.

As a result of operational actions, a cumulative assessment and study of the collected materials of the preliminary investigation, it turned out that in the process “virtual vaccination” 3 people took part.

During a search of the place where the fictitious vaccination was carried out, items were found and seized, which will be sent for examination. The detainees, against whom the case was initiated, were taken to the prosecutor’s office.
