Greece introduces Covid-19 testing from age 4

The Greek authorities are serious about going to war with the inhabitants of Greece, who do not want to be vaccinated. A new measure is the requirement of test results for Covid-19 for children from 4 years of age.

Government spokesman Yiannis Ikonomou said on Tuesday that children between the ages of 5 and 11 will have to show a negative self-test to be admitted to closed entertainment and recreational areas where access is restricted to people who are not vaccinated against Covid-19.

Clearing up some of the confusion over the weekend over restrictions on unvaccinated 12-17 year olds who are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated, an official in comments for Antenna TV said they must show a negative rapid test result, with a due date. no later than 48 hours before entering the closed premises.

New restrictions for unvaccinated people came into effect on Monday, barring them from visiting many enclosed spaces or requiring strict pre-testing.

In addition, free tests were canceled on Monday and an obligation was introduced for all unvaccinated people to be tested from 1 to 2 times a week, depending on their place of work.

Commenting on opening of a new school year for schoolsAlso on Monday, Ikonomou said that of the nearly 800,000 self-tests conducted by schoolchildren prior to school opening, about 1,500 were positive.

Meanwhile, the Greek Civil Aviation Authority said on Tuesday that children ages 4 and older will have to show a self-test negative to board any domestic or international flight.

PS I wonder who and how much will earn on these tests? And also, no less important question, how much will everyone tolerate?
