Heraklion: a man arrested who stole a wallet with 1,300 euros

Investigative measures are being carried out by the Security Directorate of Heraklion in relation to the arrested person against whom a case has been initiated.

The arrest of the man who stole the wallet from the chief of a company in Heraklion, Crete, was carried out yesterday afternoon by local police. The detainee, according to the police report, managed to pull out a wallet from his employee, in which, according to the victim, there was an amount of 1,300 euros and bank cards for withdrawing cash.

The search, which began immediately, yielded results very quickly, as the police managed to establish the whereabouts of the thief and, during the search, found and seized the victim’s bank cards for withdrawing cash.

The man was taken to the Heraklion Prosecutor’s Office.
