With rains, storms and northerly winds, a new week will pass, which towards the end will remind of the arrival of autumn. This is the forecast of the venerable meteorologist Clearhos Marousakis for the coming days.
According to the expert, rains are expected, storms in places and increased winds from the north, and closer to the weekend the amount of precipitation will increase, however, as it should be in early autumn.
As the meteorologist of the Open channel notes, in the next few hours a weather front will come to Greece from Italy, as it will move to the northwestern Balkans and affect our country, especially its eastern and northern parts.
Showers are expected in the area east of the Pindos mountain range and mainly in eastern Macedonia, Thrace, Thessaly and Sporades. The northerly wind at sea will increase, reaching 7 on the Beaufort scale.
As noted by Clearhos Maroussakis, windy weather increases the risk of fires on the mainland of the country: “We must show the necessary attention to this issue this week,” the meteorologist said.
The rains will continue throughout the week, and in fact, towards the end of the week, we will feel the “first breath of autumn”.
