By order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Greek government plane waiting for Afghan citizens to evacuate from Afghanistan is returning to the Greek capital.
The plane was sent to Afghanistan to pick up local translators. However, the Greek Foreign Minister gave instructions to return to Athens. As reported in today’s OPEN newsletter, the government plane has headed for Islamabad with diplomats and special forces on board.
