US “framed” its Afghan aides

According to Politico, citing sources, the United States handed over the “firing list” of its local aides who they want to evacuate to the Taliban, thereby exposing them to attack.

The measure was taken to speed up the evacuation from Afghanistan, but it caused a mixed reaction. A Politico source at the Department of Defense said that by doing so, the United States created a life-threatening situation:

“They just put all these Afghans on the execution list.”

Earlier at a briefing the day before, Biden said that there was no exact information about the availability of such lists. However, he noted that the US military contacted the Taliban to pass some citizens.

Meanwhile, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace warns of the threat of new terrorist attacks. His words are quoted by AMPE:

“Obviously, the threat will increase as soon as we finish. When we leave, the scenario will always be that some organizations, such as the Islamic State (ISIS), will want to claim that they have supplanted the US or the UK. ”

He assured that the British will take action against the Islamic State wherever they are.
